Registration is:
We are limited to 400 entries. We don’t want you to be disappointed on the day, so please make sure you sign up early!
Riders under the age of 18 must ask their parent / guardian to complete the Parental Consent Form. Riders under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian.

This is a charity bike ride so it would be wonderful if you can support us in getting sponsorship (or providing a donation).
Everyone who completes a ride will receive a Cloisters Bike Ride medal and a gift from our sponsor, Motorhouse – very well deserved after riding all those miles!
This event is registered with British Cycling and carries the British Cycling Event Insurance.
Terms and Conditions of Entry:
1. Riders are responsible for the roadworthiness and safe working order of their own cycle.
2. Triathlon handlebars or other bar extensions are not permitted.
3. No accompanying vehicles are allowed to accompany riders. Any rider failing to observe this regulation will be withdrawn from the Cloisters Bike Ride.
4. The wearing of Hard Shell style helmets conforming to EN1078 is compulsory for riders under the age of 18. Riders over the age of 18 are strongly encouraged to do the same.
5. Riders riding in a group should not use earphones (e.g. MP3, iPod), for safety reasons.
6. All participants under the age of 18 shall have a consent form completed by their parent/guardian. A parent / guardian must accompany riders under the age of 16.
7. Riders are advised to carry:
- a form of identification showing their name, address and contact details of person to be advised in the event of an accident.
- food, drink, money, a mobile phone, spare inner tubes, a working pump, a basic tool kit, and spare clothing sufficient to complete the ride being undertaken, taking into account the route and possible adverse weather conditions
8. I understand and accept that the Cloisters Bike Ride is not a race, but a personal challenge and no list will be published which sorts riders in either finishing times or finishing position order.
9. I accept and understand that the Cloisters Bike Ride takes place on public roads, and I must ride in an orderly manner and abide by the Highway Code at all times. I will not ride more than two abreast and will extend all reasonable courtesy to other road users. I am aware that when riding on the public highway the function of the marshals is only to indicate direction and I must decide if the movement is safe.
I10. understand and agree that I participate in the Cloisters Bike Ride entirely at my own risk, and that I must rely on my own ability in dealing with all hazards, and that I must ride in a manner that is safe to myself and others.
11. I accept that if I do not abide by these terms and conditions that the organizers will make all reasonable efforts to remove me from the event, and that British Cycling will use all efforts to restrict participation in future British Cycling competitive and non-competitive events.
12. I agree to abide by the British Cycling regulations that are relevant to Non-Competitive Cycling Events.
13. I agree that no liability whatsoever shall attach to the promoter, promoting organization, event sponsor, British Cycling or member of the promoting organization in respect of any injury, loss or damage suffered by me or by reason of the event, unless such injury, loss or damage is proven to be caused by the negligence of the aforementioned.
